Service Times
Service Times
For the majority of the year, we offer two services on Sundays – 8:30 and 11:00. Usually for about a six-week period during the summer, we move to one Sunday service at 9:30. In 2013, the summer worship schedule runs June 23 to August 18. Two services resume on August 25. During Lent and Christmas, additional services may be added. Check the calendar for this week's worship schedule.
Worship Styles
The 8:30 service is a traditional Lutheran service, utilizing a variety of liturgical resources to help draw us closer to God. Choirs, soloists and other special music enhance worship. The 11:00 service is a contemporary Christian service with a unique Lutheran approach. A contemporary praise ensemble leads the music.
Communion is offered at both services. Coffee and fellowship follows the 8:30 service, as worshippers move to Christian education classes offered for all ages.
Nursery Care and What’s Up
Children are always welcome in worship, but we know that it is sometimes more conducive to a parent’s ability to worship if a child does not have to be still and quiet for 60 minutes. There are options – including nursery care and the What’s Up? program.
