Home Big Chill Retreat
Each winter the high school youth group takes a weekend to worship, play, study the Bible, eat, talk, pray, sleep and build relationships. The Big Chill retreat held at Lutherdale in Elkhorn, WI, gives students dedicated time to connect with their faith and with one another.
Big Chill 2013 was held February 1-3 and was titled The Hunger Games, based on the popular books and movie. While there was discussion on certain events from the book/movie, the majority of the discussion revolved around issues that our world faces and how, as Christians, we relate, grow from and approach these realities. These issues include world hunger, spiritual hunger, family and more! We spent time in scripture, small groups, bible study, activities and more!
